Greeting

At BONSAIENCE, we blend timeless Japanese culture and state-of-the-art technology under the theme "Bonsai × Science: Making Bonsai More Accessible and More Enjoyable." Currently, we're exploring the geometric beauty of bonsai through high-accuracy 3D modeling and a scientific approach to analyzing tree form structures.Details

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Omiya Bonsai Village, a sacred ground of bonsai, we are proud to launch the "BONSAIENCE Museum." It is a dedicated online platform where visitors can explore exquisite bonsai masterpieces from the collection of the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum in stunning 3D models (Bonsai Digital Twin).

Whether you're a lifelong bonsai enthusiast or just beginning your bonsai journey, we invite you to discover new ways of enjoying bonsai—experiences only possible in the digital world.

This site will continue to release more Bonsai Digital Twins from the museum's collection. It will share each bonsai's seasonal changes and growth records, capturing the quiet yet powerful transformations of each tree. We aspire to create a unique digital museum in the world that you'll want to return to time and again—a space where nature's art and modern technology gently intertwine.

If a particular bonsai moves you, we hope it leads you to the museum in person, where you can feel the presence of the "気"—ki—, or living impulse and inner force of these living works of art.

With warm regards, The BONSAIENCE Team
